Planning Board Meeting

March 12, 2025

Present: Alecia Loveless (Chair), Sean Gawlik (Vice Chair), Linda Moore, Sally Fitzgerald, and Jerry Blanchard

Linda Moore opened the meeting at 6:00

 

The first order of business was to elect new officers.

Linda Moore nominated Alecia Loveless as the new Chair. Sean Gawlik seconded; a unanimous vote in favor followed.

Alecia Loveless nominated Sean Gawlik as the new Vice Chair. Linda Moore seconded; a unanimous vote in favor followed.

The board reviewed the minutes from January 8, 2025. Sean Gawlik motioned to approve as written; Alecia Loveless seconded the motion. Minutes passed 5-0.

The board reviewed the minutes from January 22, 2025. Alecia Loveless motioned to approve as written; Linda Moore seconded the motion. Minutes passed 5-0.

The board reviewed the minutes from February 12, 2025. Linda Moore motioned to approve as written; Alecia Loveless seconded the motion. Minutes passed 5-0.

Rob Gilgen of 369 Swazey Lane is before the Planning Board to express his interest in serving as an alternate. After some discussion Alecia Loveless motioned to appoint Rob Gilgen as a Planning Board Alternate. Jerry Blanchard seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0.

A discussion regarding continuing to offer all Planning Board meetings via Zoom took place. It was decided that going forward only public hearings would be offered on Zoom. General meetings and work sessions would no longer be offered.

Jerry Blanchard motioned to only utilize Zoom for meetings that required public hearings. All other meetings would be in person only. Linda Moore seconded the motion. Motion passed 5 – 0

Alecia Loveless motioned not hold a second meeting in March due to the unavailability of the clerk and some Planning Board members. Linda Moore seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0

Sean Gawlik motioned to adjourn at 6:25. Jerry Blanchard seconded. Motioned passed 5-0.
