Members Present: Chris Jensen, April Hibberd, Dawn Ferringo, Kay Kerr, Alison Caruso, Tina Lister
Minutes of December 20, 2024 were approved.
TL motioned to go into non-public session. CJ seconded.
Case 2025-38 (JH) Dad of 3 lives in AHEAD apartment. Lost job in January after an injury and found out he didn’t have a job upon returning to work. Fell behind in rent payment and has a past due car payment in the amount of $807.31. Total amount due for car is $1201.12. Unemployment case has been filed. Receives assistance for fuel. AC made a motion to bring them up to date with total amount. CJ seconded. Motion passed.
CJ made motion to come out of non-public session. AC seconded.
Auditor feels that Bethlehem Cares and the town food pantry are not using the best practices while under the auspices of the Hebrew Church. AH suggested we take this year and look into getting a 501c3. Discussion ensued. Possible options including paying someone a small amount if we were to become a 501c3.
AH motioned to adjourn. KK seconded.
