- Reading of the Mission Statement
The purpose of the Sustainability Working Group (“Group”) is to facilitate, educate and enable residents, businesses and municipal entities on economic, environmental, and socially sustainable practices so humans and nature can exist in productive harmony for present and future generations, while collaborating with others when appropriate.
- Public Input
- Discussion on posting/distributing the apartment/senior center recycling flyer
- Discussion on starting to get a firm location for the community orchard
- Update on cuttings from trees
- Update on Plastics Resolution
- Update on June 27th Colonial Theatre event
- Update on partnering with the Littleton Co-Op in promoting sustainability items
- Update on membership
- Continued discussion on developing a conversational group meeting
- Continued discussion on encouraging a repair shop/service
- Social media presence
- Discussion on sending a new letter to Eversource to encourage it to have a table of energy conservation services at the next Bethlehem Vintage Market in the Mountains
