Bethlehem Board of Selectmen

Meeting Minutes

February 23rd, 2026

In person – Chairwoman Strand, Selectman Bruno, Selectwoman Hibberd, Selectman MacDonald, and Selectwoman Knowles.

Chairwoman Strand motioned to open the meeting at 5:00 and go into nonpublic per RSA 91-A for reasons of reputation and personnel.  Selectman Bruno seconded and roll call followed.

The board discussed a personnel issue.

Public Input- Jason Mooney gave the board an update about the snack shack.

Municipal Vehicle Policy- Selectman Bruno updated the board that he worked with Chief Dube on the Vehicle Policy and both the Road Agent and Deputy Fire Chief have reviewed the draft policy.  Chris Jensen asked when employees can take vehicles home and Selectman Bruno responded when it is in their contract or they are on call.

Selectman MacDonald motioned to accept the Municipal Vehicle Policy.  Chairwoman Strand seconded and all were in favor.

Bethlehem PD Highway Safety Grant Agreement- Chairwoman Strand updated the board that Chief Bube received a grant in the amount of $8,500 to help reduce the cost for patrolling.

Chairwoman Strand motioned: The Select Board, in a majority vote, has accepted the terms of the Highway Safety Grant Agreement as presented in the amount of $8,500.00 furthermore Mary Moritz, Town Administrator is authorized to sign all documents related to the grant.  Selectman Bruno seconded and all were in favor. 

Selectman Bruno motioned to abate 413-007 in the amount of $262.00 for over payment.  Selectwoman Knowles seconded and all were in favor. 

Chairwoman Strand made a motion to adjourn at 6:00. Selectman MacDonald seconded, and all were in favor.
