Minutes from October 3, 2025, were approved.
AH moved to go into non-public session.
2025-46 (CS) Applicant is looking for help with getting her car registered. She is also needing $1800 for a car repair which she is hoping to get from Family Resource Center. She received assistance from Bethlehem Cares last year around this time for car registration and inspection. Discussion ensued regarding the fact that she received assistance before but because it was around $200, CJ suggested paying for her car registration once again. CH made a motion to cover the registration up to $200. TL seconded. Motion passed.
We discussed the possibility of allowing an applicant to be able to apply once a year if necessary. CH brought up that before making any decisions about this, it would be good to have a better idea of the money that is actually in the account. AH will look into getting this information.
It was also noted that we need to set up a time to figure out the steps necessary to become a 501c3. AC suggested that we need to have in writing everyone’s responsibilities within Bethlehem Cares. December 1, 2025, at 12:30 was scheduled to get started on all of this.
